BFCS

The Brief

BFCS approached us to create a film that would help communicate the importance of their work and, most importantly, make audiences connect emotionally with the cause.

Rather than simply creating a film that explained who they are and what they do, we wanted to tell a story.

We developed the film around the people at the heart of the organisation, identifying the emotional hooks that would allow audiences to understand why their work matters. Through carefully considered interviews and a documentary led approach, we created space for contributors to tell their stories naturally and authentically.

Visually, we wanted the film to feel cinematic while remaining grounded in the reality of the people and communities BFCS supports. We combined intimate interviews with carefully captured observational footage and cinematic sequences, using lighting, composition, movement, music and pacing to build emotion throughout the film.

The result was a powerful, human story that focused on the impact of BFCS rather than simply describing its services.

For us, this is where film can be particularly effective for charities and purpose led organisations. Facts can explain a cause, but stories give people a reason to care. By finding the right contributors, asking the right questions and combining their experiences with strong cinematic visuals, we can create films that connect emotionally with audiences and inspire them to take notice, support a campaign or get involved.

We were proud to help BFCS tell their story and shine a light on the important work they are doing in Bangor and the wider community.
